‘I have been a member of the Eden Valley Chamber of Commerce for many years and during my time as a business owner the support and encouragement I gained from this organisation was invaluable, enabling both myself and my business to thrive. I gained both friendships and knowledge from this strong business group. Having joined the Exec Committee and then becoming Vice-Chair and then being formally appointed to be Chair Person in June 2021 is an honour and I sincerely hope that I can continue the amazing work this chamber has achieved. I am the first female chair at the helm of the Eden Valley Chamber of Commerce and this is something I am extremely proud of. My thanks go to all the members that voted for me and of course to the outgoing Chair, Peter Kingham. The work that the chamber achieves could not happen without the dedicated Exec Committee team, most of whom, like myself, are volunteers. I hope I can give back to other businesses the benefits the chamber has given to me!

He continues to work on behalf of the chamber in all of the many activities that the chamber promotes in the area, and passionately believes that the commercial success of the Eden Valley can best be achieved by businesses working together, represented by a strong and active chamber of commerce.
